Duties from the announcement

Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties within the field of the Emergency Room. Secure a health and medical history from the patient or family member, record findings, and make clinical evaluation for assigned patients. Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment. Write prescriptions, orders the administration of medications, dispenses, and prescribes controlled substances in accordance with scope of practice. Orders laboratory tests, x-rays, etc., and arranges for physician consultation if required.
