DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides front line supervision of 3 or more dental staff including at least one additional dentist by planning, assigning, evaluating and directing work and exercising complete administrative control of subordinates in carrying out program policies. Provides staff orientation, training, and competency testing. Completes performance evaluations for federal dental staff. Serves as the leave granting authority for federal dental staff. Oversees dental care for complex facility with 1000 or greater capacity.

Typical requirements

• Active dental license in the state of the job
• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited program
• DEA registration and state controlled-substance registration if you prescribe; BLS
