Duties from the announcement

Performs the full range of screening and diagnostic mammograms, including specialized and follow-up studies. Positions patients accurately to obtain high-quality images, selects technical factors, and adapts methods for patients with implants, surgical changes, or limited mobility. Performs daily, weekly, and monthly mammography QC tests (e.g., phantom images, dose checks, equipment calibration). Ensures compliance with FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA), American College of Radiology (ACR), and IHS policy. Explains mammography procedures, addresses patient concerns, and ensures comfort, dignity, and privacy.
