Duties from the announcement
Evaluate patients for auditory dysfunction associated with traumatic brain injury, polytrauma or post-traumatic stress disorders, to include central auditory processing evaluations. Conduct diagnostic audiological assessments and procedures. Select and fit all types of hearing aids and assistive devices and listening devices. Perform complete diagnostic audiology evaluations on infants who do not pass the initial hearing screening criteria, or who fall within the High-Risk factor for hearing loss. Document each patient treatment by writing clinical reports and ensure documentation is accurate.
