Receive and review requests from physicians and other health care providers for MRI examinations of patients. Perform routine, emergent, and specialized procedures with responsibility for protocols, patient care, and magnet safety. Observe and report patient responses to instructions, movement, touch, etc., if significant. Perform adult and pediatric magnetic resonance imaging of the heart to identify cardiac pathology such as pericarditis, sarcoidosis, thrombus, mass, coronary artery disease, myocardial infarct, and myocardial viability.
