Accounts for and processes surgical instruments, to include complex loaner sets for scheduled cases, emergent cases, and clinic/ward instrumentation. Packages surgical items individually (e.g., scissors, tubing, instrumentation) or assembles into trays and sets. Utilizes computer instrument tracking system, logs onto system, scans set or tray, and assembles the items according to the count sheet that specifies kinds and numbers of instruments to be included.
