Administers immunizations to pediatric and adult patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines and provider standing orders Screens patients for contraindications and precautions prior to vaccination and obtains informed consent. Educates patients and family members on vaccine-preventable diseases, recommended immunization schedules, and potential side effects. Monitors patients post-vaccination and is prepared to respond to and manage adverse reactions according to emergency protocols. Accurately documents all administered vaccines in the electronic health record (EHR).
