The Registered Nurse-Patient Safety Nurse duties include but are not limited to: Coordinates and implements patient safety policies and activities established by the National Center for Patient Safety (NCPS). Serves as the facility's primary resource for building, sustaining, and implementing patient safety systems across all VHA care settings. Supports the development, maintenance, and operation of the facility-level patient safety program and related processes. Applies the science of patient safety through systematic, enterprise-wide methodologies and foundational safety practices.
