The major duties of the Mental Health Clinic (MHC) BHIP Social Worker include, but are not limited to: Provides social work services to Veterans receiving care in the outpatient Mental Health Clinic at Shelbyville, IN. Evaluates the Veteran's presenting psychosocial problems and facilitates access to the resources that can most appropriately minimize the Veteran's psychosocial stressors. Works to optimize the social supports available to the Veteran to promote maximum recovery and functioning.
